Pupils are introduced to a range of sports and activities during their time at Pontesbury CE Primary School. We help pupils develop their skillset and knowledge that shape the fundamental building blocks to allow pupils to participate in a range of sports.
Our PE is taught using the Complete PE curriculum adjusted to our school and pupils’ needs through the expertise of our PE teacher and staff.
Pontesbury provides opportunities to participate in a range of extra-curricular sporting clubs and sporting competitions.
Currently, Year 4 and 6 go swimming to develop their water safety and swimming skills. This usually takes place in the Summer Term.
