The school is supported by an enthusiastic Friends Association (FOPPS – Friends of Pontesbury CE Primary School), which contributes much to the school through the contacts it creates between home and school, and by its fundraising activities that provide finance for additional resources for the school.
All parents are encouraged to play a full part in its activities.
In recent years FOPPS have organised the following:
- A groovy Autumn disco with tattoos, glow sticks, food & drink and great tunes.
- A Cake and Christmas Jumper sale which was very successful (and tasty!)
- A Christmas film night where pupils enjoyed watching a Christmas film and munching popcorn.
- Summer Fairs.
- Various cake sales and ice lolly sales.
