Just a reminder that bookings for Wraparound Club need to be made a week in advance, so please book this week for week commencing Monday 17th April!
The Weduc App should have auto-updated today (Monday 3rd April) to the ‘Reach More Parents’ version with new, easier and enhanced features (but only if you have auto-updates turned on on your device).
If you do not have automatic updates turned on, you will need to re-download the app from the App Store if you have an iPhone or the Google Play Store if you have an Android.
New Reach More Parents App is coming!
Weduc has redesigned the App for Reach More Parents with major enhancements to the layout, accessibility, and general ease of use.
What do I need to do as a parent? If your phone has automatic updates turned on, there is nothing you need to do, as the app will update automatically on 03/04/2023. If you do not have automatic updates turned on, you will need to re-download the app from the App Store if you have an iPhone or the Google Play Store if you have an Android.
Can I still access the same features? Yes. The features you already use such as Newsfeed, Absence Reporting and Messaging are still accessible.
What’s new? You can find a PDF document attached which will give you a detailed breakdown of everything that has changed in the app.
Dear Parents
We are very excited about our trip to Birmingham tomorrow (Wednesday) and hope the children are too! This is just a reminder that children should wear their school uniform with comfortable shoes for walking in (trainers are fine) and they should all bring a coat. If your child is bringing a packed lunch from home, please do not pack fizzy drinks or glass bottles. Please send your child with a refillable water bottle.
We will let you know of any delays on our return.
Thanks for your support.
Year 3 & 4 Team.
The staff and children will not be leaving Birmingham until 2.30pm, so will arrive back at Pontesbury CE Primary School at the slightly later time of 3.50pm – please arrange to collect your child at this later finishing time. Thank you.
For those children at baking club today – please bake your bread in a hot oven (180 fan) for 20 minutes or until it looks golden.
Dear parents,
If you haven’t yet paid for your child’s visit to Birmingham (and the ThinkTank museum) on the new Weduc app, you will not yet have indicated their packed lunch choices for their trip (which is part of the payment process).
The kitchen staff need their orders by the end of this week at the latest please so they can place the food order and get it delivered in time for the following week’s visit.
Thank you!
Please can all year 3 and year 4 parents order your child’s school packed lunch on Weduc as soon as possible, as the kitchen staff need to order food ready for delivery in time for the class visit.
If you will be providing your child with a home packed lunch on their Birmingham ThinkTank visit day (Wednesday 15th March) please either indicate that on the Weduc app, or let the school office know.
Thank you!
Parents,
South America class (Year 3) would be very grateful for any unwanted shoe boxes you have please!
Many thanks
Mrs Smout
